Group Therapy

Supporting the Community
Group therapy offers a supportive space where individuals facing similar challenges can come together, share their experiences, and learn from one another. Guided by a licensed therapist, group sessions encourage connection, reflection, and personal growth in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or relationship struggles, group therapy can help you feel less alone—and more empowered. Because sometimes, the best kind of healing happens when you realize you're not the only one.

Why Group Therapy Matters
Revive Therapeutic Services in Rhode Island offers group therapy sessions as a powerful alternative when one‑on‑one counseling feels intimidating. Yes—sharing personal struggles is never easy, and even a private session with a single therapist can leave you feeling exposed. But healing isn’t limited to individual appointments.
In group therapy in Rhode Island or online therapy sessions, one licensed therapist guide small groups of people who face similar challenges—whether that’s depression, anxiety, life challenges, social phobia or just emotions. Participants gain support, new coping skills, and the reassuring insight that they’re not alone. Many clients combine group therapy with individual sessions and medication management for a balanced, evidence‑based plan. While the idea of opening up to several people might feel daunting at first, those who step past that initial vulnerability often discover some of the most rewarding breakthroughs of their mental‑health journey.
