We are building healthier, more connected communities—together -- Recent Rhode Island Community Events

This fall, Revive Therapeutic Services had the honor of joining or hosting several powerful community events across Rhode Island, each rooted in one shared belief: mental health is health, and no one should have to navigate it alone. Here’s a look at where we showed up—and why it matters.

Empowered Women, Empower Communities: Revive & Repair Wellness Brunch

Our Revive & Repair Wellness Brunch brought together women leaders, mothers, and community partners for honest conversations about self-care, leadership, and growth.

This gathering affirmed a core belief at Revive:

  • When women are supported—emotionally, mentally, and practically—they are better equipped to lead families, workplaces, and communities.

  • Self-care is not selfish; it is a foundation for sustainable strength.

  • Healing, leadership, and advocacy are deeply interconnected.

By creating spaces where women can speak openly about burnout, balance, and emotional health, we help reduce stigma and foster a culture where asking for help is fully accepted.

Walking Together for Hope: URI Be5K for Suicide Prevention

This October, Revive was proud to participate in the URI Be5K, an event dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Standing alongside students, families, community members, and leaders—including University of Rhode Island President Marc Parlange—was a meaningful reminder of the impact that comes from simply showing up.

For us, being present at the Be5K is about more than a single day. It’s about:

  • Normalizing open conversations around suicide and mental health.

  • Sharing resources so that students and families know where to turn for support.

  • Honoring those we’ve lost and standing with those who are still fighting.

Events like this reflect our commitment to early intervention, education, and compassionate care across all ages.

A Spooktacular Night of Connection: Trick or Suite at Centreville Bank RIFC Stadium

Halloween at the Trick or Suite event at Centreville Bank RIFC Stadium was all about joy, safety, and community spirit. Revive joined families, local organizations, and partners for an evening of treats, smiles, and meaningful conversations.

Why does this matter for mental health?

  • Safe, inclusive community spaces help reduce isolation.

  • Positive family experiences support emotional well-being for both kids and parents.

  • Partnering with local organizations—such as Centreville Bank, Pet Food Experts, Breeze Airways™, community agencies, and first responders—strengthens the network of care available to Rhode Island residents.

Mental health support begins with trust, and trust is built where people live, play, and gather. This event was a beautiful example of that.

Bringing Care Closer: Women & Infants Hospital Mobile Health Clinic Ribbon Cutting

Revive was honored to attend the ribbon cutting of Women & Infants Hospital’s Community Mobile Health Clinic, supported by CVS Health Foundation. Our team connected with community partners, including Mariel Aleman and many dedicated advocates working to expand access to essential health services.

This mobile clinic will provide:

  • Mental health support

  • Postpartum care

  • Health screenings

  • Lactation support

For Revive, this collaboration represents a shared mission: breaking down barriers to care, especially for women, parents, and underserved communities. When mental health services are integrated into community-based care, people are more likely to seek help early, feel seen, and feel supported.

Standing Strong Together: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Revive stood with every woman, survivor, caregiver, and family impacted by breast cancer. While treatment focuses on the body, we know the emotional weight—fear, uncertainty, grief, and hope—is just as real.

By joining the conversation, we aim to:

  • Highlight the importance of emotional and mental health support throughout treatment and recovery.

  • Encourage loved ones and caregivers to care for their own mental well-being.

  • Remind our community that seeking counseling is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Awareness saves lives—but compassion, connection, and psychological support help people live those lives more fully.

Why Our Community Partnerships Matter

Across each of these events, one theme is clear: mental health is woven into every part of community life.

Our participation reflects Revive’s ongoing commitment to:

  • Accessibility – Meeting people where they are: campuses, stadiums, clinics, community centers.

  • Collaboration – Working alongside universities, hospitals, nonprofits, local businesses, and civic leaders to build a stronger support network.

  • Awareness & Prevention – Turning important dates and events—like Suicide Prevention Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month—into opportunities for education, empathy, and action.

  • Belonging – Letting every individual know: you are seen, you are valued, and help is available.

These gatherings are not just appearances on a calendar; they are part of our mission to create a compassionate, inclusive Rhode Island where mental health support is visible, approachable, and within reach for all.

If you or someone you care about is seeking support, Revive Therapeutic Services is here to walk alongside you—every step of the way. 💙
